Each video extract is 5-8 minutes long and taken from a Channel 5 programme. Extracts include teenagers talking about relationships, a soap opera set in a UK secondary school, and a cross-curricular science programme. Extracts come with on-screen support to aid comprehension.

The accompanying resource book provides photocopiable pages, carefully structured around each programme. They include comprehension exercises, extension activities and self-study material.
